BATTERSEA PROJECT

Apollo was appointed to deliver landscaped attenuation works at Battersea Square, within a sensitive heritage environment that remained occupied and in use throughout the project.

Programme

May 2025 to December 2025

Location

Battersea, London

Project Overview

Apollo was appointed to deliver landscaped attenuation works at Battersea Square, within a sensitive heritage environment that remained occupied and in use throughout the project.

Challenge

The site required careful consideration of heritage features and the needs of the public, alongside delivery within a tight programme. All works had to be coordinated around existing services, pedestrian access, and ongoing use of the surrounding area.

Our Approach

We focused on early planning, due diligence, and coordination with all relevant parties. Particular attention was given to public safety, access management, and protecting the character of the heritage setting while maintaining progress on site.

Scope of works

  • Construction of approximately 1,000 m³ of landscaped attenuation
  • Installation of heritage granite setts
  • Utility and service connections
  • Full coordination with statutory undertakers and project stakeholders

Outcome

The works were successfully completed to a tight programme. The quality of delivery led to further smaller on site projects being awarded to Apollo following completion of the initial contract.
