Apollo was appointed to deliver public realm works along the Tour of London route, within a busy and highly visible urban environment.

Challenge

The works needed to be delivered to a compressed programme while maintaining public access and safety. Activities had to be carefully coordinated around existing infrastructure and adjacent works to minimise disruption.

Our Approach

We applied a structured planning and sequencing approach, with a strong focus on safety, access management and quality control. Close coordination on site ensured efficient delivery within the limited programme.

Scope of works

Installation of approximately 80 m³ of cobbled surfacing
Construction of concrete pads for new security bollards
Coordination with surrounding works and site interfaces

Outcome

The works were completed successfully within the required timeframe, delivering a high-quality finish in a prominent urban setting.
